The new Destiny 2 activity is called the Sundial. You can do this on Mercury after completing A Matter of Time. You'll find yourself playing this game mode multiple times, and after completing a Sundial quest, you'll receive a gun at the end of it. You can choose which one you want to take, and the guns have different perks each time. It's also important to know which Obelisk you've bound to the Sundial to spawn them as rewards.

Tangled Riveted Obelisk Weapons.
Here is the location of the Tangled Shore Obelisk. You unlock it when you go through the A Matter of Time quest when talking to Ikora.
Mars Obelisk Arms.
Here is the location of the Mars Obelisk. You unlock it after completing the A Matter of Time quest and talk to Osiris to complete the Mars: Obelisk Attunement quest.
We will be adding more Obelisk Sundial weapons in the future when they are unlocked in Destiny 2.
