Fortnite Chapter 2 marks the finale with a unique event called 'The End'

Fortnite Chapter 2 ends with a huge in-game event called 'The End'

Fortnite Chapter 2 is coming to an end just over two years after its launch. Epic Games decided to mark the chapter finale with a huge event called The End. The event will begin on December 4 at 16 p.m. EST.

Just like many other events in the Fortnite universe, The End will be an in-game playlist. Players can queue up to 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. It will be a unique special event. This means that Fortnite Chapter 2 players will not be able to see it on replay. Once the event is over, however, Epic Games no longer runs it.

“Content creators and players looking to relive the final moments of Fortnite Chapter 2 should take steps to save and archive their experience as replays will not be available,” Epic Games announced.

Unfortunately, there's no word on what The End will bring. However, Fortnite fans think Chapter 3 might introduce a whole new map into the mix.

The Fortnite Chapter 1 Finals was a huge in-game event, probably the biggest the game had ever had at the time. It was so huge that the game even had to be taken offline for several hours just to update the game and its servers. The Fortnite developers have treated fans to a brand new map, a first in Fortnite history, once the servers are back online.

Epic also told Fortnite fans that they would be “unable to change their settings once The End begins. “Please adjust visual options to your preferred viewing experience before joining,” they added. “Because the season will end a day earlier, all players who log in before the season ends will receive a reward of 225 XP.
