Fortnite is more popular than ever these days, and that's just because it's over. Or at least, it's been a few days since it all ended, before preparing for the strong comeback you've come to expect from a great game and a developer like Epic Games.
Indeed, it took a day and a half, but the black hole event is over and the servers have been offline since 4am EST. This means that the game servers are now under maintenance and there is a new Chapter 2 patch that you can download right now.
If you don't trust us, there's a message that pops up every time you try to play the game now, which clearly says "Fortnite servers are undergoing maintenance. Please try again later." So that's all.
The Chapter 2 update for Fortnite is indeed available on all platforms: the file size of the update is around 9 GB on consoles and 14 GB on PC. Also, we have a new trailer that just sank.
Yesterday we touched on a Battle Pass trailer showcasing everything new to the game: 100 rewards, more ways to get them, fishing, boats, and of course, a brand new island to explore and battle on.
Today we also have a trailer just leaked and you can check it out in the tweet below. Think about it, it might be downgraded anytime soon, so be sure to check it out ASAP, if you don't mind "spoilers." The photo you can see above is straight from the trailer and shows the new island.
