Fortnite Chapter 2 has arrived and brings new challenges to complete. Alter Ego challenges can net you some nice skin variants if you put in a little work. Completing Alter Ego challenges will earn you variant styles for this season's Battle Pass skins.
Fortnite – Chapter 2 Season 1 – Alter Ego Challenges
The Alter Ego challenges and their rewards are listed below. They are all multifaceted challenges. So we will update this guide as we learn more about the steps. When you update the game and load it for the first time, it will automatically launch you into a new game, so some of the stages will end automatically because of that.
- Stage 2 of 3 – Complete 2 Missions – Riptide Style Reward
- Stage 2 of 3 – Complete 3 Missions – Danger Style Reward
- Stage 1 of 3 – Reach Level 20 – Mud Style Reward
- Stage 1 of 3 – Reach Level 40 – Toxin Style Reward
- Stage 1 of 3 – Reach Level 60 – Scratch Style Reward
- Stage 1 of 3 – Reach Level 80 – Classy Style Reward
- Stage 1 of 3 – Collect FORTNITE Letters Hidden in Loading Screens – Mystery Legendary Style Reward
Unfortunately, I have no way to show you the first two stages of the first two challenges, as they automatically completed when I loaded my first match.
If you're wondering what "missions" the first two challenges above refer to, you can also find the new world missions in the Challenges tab. At the moment, only the first three are unlocked for me. They need to discover named locations, get kills at Lazy Lake or Misty Meadows, and discover landmarks, but open up more when you complete those missions.
