Fortnite Just Got A Massive Map Change In Update 14.10

Well, we called it. Update 14.10 brought a substantial map change to Fortnite, as Tony Stark beamed into a massive chunk of dirt and dropped it on the northeast corner of the map.

Much like the smaller Marvel-related landmarks that have appeared all over the map, this is a huge circle of land that contains a lake, rivers, and even a new named location. We won't know the name until the servers are back up and we can get into the game, but it sure does look pretty. We have a copy of the new map, thanks to FunGamesLeaks, so you can get a good look at the map change for yourself. As you can see, it's huge.

We also have some photos of the new POI in the game, thanks to the hard work of Hypex. It all looks very neat and scientific, so hopefully there will be a new hero attached to the location, although it could be a Stark Industries building, we guess.

New game files also indicate that there will be a safe at this new location, and chests almost always mean a new boss. Could it also mean new myths? We certainly hope so.

New named locations in Fortnite always turn into a murderous hive the first day they appear, but we'll be right in the middle of the madness when the servers return to bring you as much information as possible about this new location.
