As we get closer and closer to the launch of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4, the rumor mill has started to pick up speed. A rumor just came off the production line today that the upcoming season will have a full Marvel theme.
Noted Fortnite leaker and dataminer Hypex posted a tweet saying that, according to their sources, the next season could be all about popular superheroes from the Marvel franchise, although the focus is on “power”.
I've seen some of you already guess that, but yeah, season 4 *COULD* be Marvel themed, and Thor and his hammer are going to be cosmetics (it's via my source)
The trailer can also start with a girl being stuck in an alley by armed hides and she is rescued.

As an idea, it's not completely out of the question. Fortnite and Marvel have done a lot of crossovers before, and there are certainly some unanswered questions about previous events and leaks. We've seen a leak that strongly implies readable comics will be coming to the game. It would make sense for these to be used as tools to tell the story of what might happen in a full season of collaboration between the two entertainment giants.
The concern is that this would leave little room for Fortnite to continue developing its own story and lore in Season 4, and many players greatly appreciate all the weird things that happen in the battle royale sim.
The leaked comic showed us the Rainbow Bridge, which would be linked to Captain America using the Bifrost to get to the island, and would also support the idea of Thor visiting us one day. It also showed Galactus, who would make a suitable villain for us to try for an entire season.
For now, it's just rumor, but speculation can certainly be fun. Season 4 of Fortnite Chapter 2 is due to start on August 27 and there has been no delay to this start date. At the risk of grabbing straws, this is a rarity for Fortnite and strongly implies that work on the new season has been completed for some time. It would certainly make sense that a crossover of this scale had been in the works for some time, and all the work could have been completed a long time ago.
