Fortnite Travis Scott's Astronomical event was played by 12 million users, an all-time high

More than 12 million users participated in Travis Scott's Astronomical Fortnite event on its first date, Epic Games has announced.

The event was "a unique musical journey" that saw rapper Travis Scott share the world premiere of a brand new track.

With “over 12,3 million concurrent players” participating in the event, Fortnite set an “all-time high” years after its launch and established itself as the most played battle royale game available.

The event returns today and on April 25, fans should have missed the opportunity to browse it, on these specific “tour dates”:

  • Friday, April 24 at 1:00 a.m. GMT+2
  • Friday, April 24 at 16:00 a.m. GMT+2
  • Saturday, April 25 at 6:00 a.m. GMT+2
  • Saturday, April 25 at 17:00 a.m. GMT+2
  • Saturday, April 25 at 12:00 a.m. GMT+2

Players who need help watching and playing the event themselves can find out how on Gamepur.

Travis Scott is also the newest addition to the Icon Series, with outfits, emotes, and more available to all players starting April 21.


On top of that, players who attended one of the Astronomical events will have the chance to grab the Astroworld Cyclone Glider and two loading screens for free.


Fortnite is now available on Google Play for Android, 18 months after its original release for the mobile operating system.
