Fortnite update 14.00 is available to download right now, paving the way for Chapter 2 Season 4. This new season is all about Marvel, and the update contains a slew of new cosmetics related to all new heroes involved in the season. Although you can download the update, unfortunately the servers are offline at the moment.

We are starting to disable services in preparation for Chapter 2 - Season 4 (v14.00). If you are currently in a session, you can continue playing until the downtime starts at approx. 2 a.m. ET (06:00 UTC). pic.twitter.com/WONPj7xegm

While Epic sent out a tweet from the Fortnite Status account to let us all know that the servers would be offline, unfortunately they didn't say anything about when they would be back. The servers went down at 6:00 UTC, and if past updates are any indicator, they'll take around two hours to come back, so we should hopefully be able to get into the game and start exploring Chapter 2. of season 4 in around 8:00 UTC.

It's a good idea to follow the Fortnite Status account, as they'll be tweeting to let us all know when the servers are backed up. Although, if you're anything like us, you're sitting at your computer with the Epic Games Store library open, waiting for the little โ€œServer Offlineโ€ message to turn into a launch button.

This new season is already generating a lot of hype, thanks to the presence of so many Marvel characters in the game. You can expect to see Wolverine, Groot, Iron Man, She-Hulk, Doctor Doom, Thor and many more when you log in and start playing the game. A new season also means map changes, new challenges, new mechanics, and a host of new weapons to have fun with.
