There are plenty of towers to collect in your inventory in Tower Defense Simulator. Some of these towers, however, cannot be found in the shop, such as the Cowboy. This unique tower can only be unlocked by completing a particular map. Find out how below!

How to get Cowboy in Tower Defense Simulator
To get the Cowboy in Tower Defense Simulator, you need to beat the Badlands map in Fallen Mode. The fade mode is equal to normal, golden to hard, and faded to extreme. The Cowboy was previously available in Molten mode, but was made harder to unlock in an October update. The Cowboy Tower certainly cannot be unlocked in Easy Mode either.
For Badlands to be considered triumphant, you must survive all 40 rounds. The map becomes more difficult as you progress, with stronger waves of enemies appearing in greater numbers. You will have to react quickly, add as many towers as possible and improve your towers as you progress. If you're playing with a team, good communication is key – don't be afraid to use chat.
There's really no "right" way to complete the Badlands map, as it depends on what kind of towers you (and your team) have in your inventory. That said, we've put together some strategic tips to make the process easier. Check them out below:
- Build farms as soon as you have enough towers on the field. Farms generate additional cash, and the more you build, the faster your money will grow over time.
- Place the farms away from the roads so the towers have room to defeat the zombies.
- Upgrade your farms for extra money.
- Fully upgrade your towers. This will make them as strong as possible to take down zombies, which you'll need as you progress.
- Sell unnecessary towers if necessary, to replace the field with even stronger towers.
- If you play as a team: communicate! Everyone should have a role. Divide the map into sections by player. If your section receives additional calls, ask for help.
When you complete round 40, you will receive a badge for completing Badlands and obtaining Cowboy. The Cowboy Tower will be in your inventory when you return to the main hub.
