The introduction of cars to Fortnite brought another new feature to the game, radio stations. Now you can listen to music while zooming the map in your car, boat or Choppa. It's a cool idea and I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate it.
It's important to note that radios have been disabled in-game at this time, but Epic has indicated that they will be back up and running as soon as possible.
How to turn on the radio
When you get in your car, the radio turns on automatically. On the left side of the screen, you'll see a list of commands, including one to turn the radio off and on. On PC, this is done by pressing the C button, and you can simply press the guest button on console or mobile to do the same.
How to change radio station
You can change the radio station by pressing the corresponding guest button, which will be R on PC. This will cycle through the radio stations you can listen to.
How many radio stations are there?
There are currently four radio stations, but this could be expanded in the future.
- Royal Party
- Beat box
- radio there
- Power play
Why is a genre of music played on the radio in Fortnite?
It appears to be a mix of songs from the game, with some radio stations playing songs from popular artists. Unfortunately, radio stations were disabled before we could properly check which station is playing which type of music.
