A most auspicious honor
Sony is handing out exactly one real, legitimate platinum trophy as part of this year's PlayStation Gamer's Celebration. There will also be given avatars and themes, but none of that stuff is a big old silver paperweight straight out of your TV. In fact, everything is happening next month!
Here's the scoop: Sony wants everyone to play tons of games and win tons of trophies this year. Platinum, gold, silver, everything works. Thus, the entire player base is responsible for reaching a certain number of games played and trophies won, starting on February 24. The first of three goals is 125 games played and 000 trophies won.
If that sounds like a ridiculous goal, keep in mind that every PlayStation player will team up for this one. Completing the first objective will give participants a static PS4 theme. The second goal is 375 matches and 000 million trophies. This one filters everyone five new avatars. The third goal requires 1,5 games played and 675 million trophies. For completing this task, participating players will receive a dynamic theme. Honestly, these are all terribly small potatoes next to this trophy.
