A potential Fortnite boosted jump exploit has been discovered on stream by popular streamer and battle royale favorite Tfue, allowing players to get a boosted jump impossible through normal means.
The technique, which could be considered an achievement based on the fact that you can do it without taking damage and which breaks the physics coded into the game, is completed using a boat on land. Tfue was experimenting with climbing a hill with the boat by using the boat's built-in boost and firing a rocket into the boat to give it a trajectory burst.
However, he discovered while jumping off the boat after performing the technique that he gave a massive boost to the ferocity of the jump, allowing you to get further away from him.
Upon managing to land the shot, Tfue was predictably surprised, saying, “it was fire.”
From the video, it's not that easy to see as he's leaning towards the ground, but the clip certainly shows him dashing off the boat at a much faster rate than a regular jump.
It's hard to say it's an achievement because there are very few practical applications to use it. Putting the boat on the map without detection and then getting close enough to an enemy to use it, especially when they can get out of trouble, leaves you far too open. However, this little trick looks like a lot of fun!
