Everything you need to know about Movie Nite in Fortnite

Everything you need to know about Movie Nite in Fortnite

Epic invited us all to watch a movie in Fortnite, which is nice of them. The company will premiere one of three Christopher Nolan films in the game's Party Royale mode on Friday, June 26. Which movie you can watch will depend on where you are in the world, due to licensing fees, and unfortunately some countries won won't be able to participate in the event at all.

How to watch the movie?

Load into Party Royale and head to the main stage area at the specified time.

What films will be screened?

Three different films will be screened, either Inception, The Prestige or Batman Begins. You can use this page to understand what will be displayed in your area. Simply go to the bottom of the page and select your country from the drop-down list.

When is the Movie Nite event?

The start time of the Movie Nite event will depend on where you live. Again, this is the page you need to find out when you can watch the movie.

What if nothing is listed for my country?

This means that Epic was unable to obtain the streaming rights for any of the three films in your region, and you will not be able to participate in the event. It sucks, but that's the nature of licensing.

I'm confused, can I have some examples?

It's understandable, Fortnite events normally just start at a certain time without the whole thing messing around. So if you live in America, for example, you'll be able to watch Inception on Friday, June 26 at 13:00 p.m. GM+1. Players in Canada can instead watch The Prestige on the same day at 17:00 p.m. GMT+1.
