Fortnite and Borderlands intersect in a new update

The most ambitious cross ever?

The worlds of Borderlands and Fortnite collide in a new Fortnite update. You'll soon have access to Borderlands-themed skins for your character as you try your luck to see who the last man standing is. Borderlands 3 will launch in a few months, so it's a great way for both games to get some recognition and hype. Particularly for Borderlands.

Announced by Epic Games today, the new update will be called Fortnite x Mayhem. Until September 10, you can enjoy a ton of Borderlands-themed content: โ€œWalk through the Pandora Rift Zone, complete themed challenges for free rewards, and grab the Psycho Pack from the store,โ€ the website explains. Fortnite.

The Psycho pack will allow you to build up a highly sought-after skin. He is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable characters in video games, as well as in Borderlands. The updated and quick-witted Claptrap can also be found in this update. It won't serve as a sidekick or comic relief like in its local game, but more like a backpack. It's not very glamorous. But then again, nothing is perfect.

The Pandora Rift Zone that has been added to the Fortnite map is supposed to recreate the Borderlands world. Epic said that if you spend enough time in this area, you will generate a shield. There would also be other surprises according to Epic.

This isn't the first time Fortnite has decided to team up and crossover with other companies and franchises. Thanos, the main villain of the Avengers series, has also made an appearance in a special game mode in Fortnite. Hopefully this deal works out for both franchises.
