Fortnite player aiming for level 600 by only opening chests

A Fortnite player is aiming to achieve another in-game milestone by reaching level 600 on this season's Battle Pass before the end, but he's not doing it by dominating lobbies or building for glory.

The player in question is Talocan, who streamed his PS4 Fortnite sessions through Google Gaming, where he doesn't play with a camera or interact much with the audience. Instead, he focuses his energy on the game collecting XP by opening chests. In his last stream, he reached level 520 and confirmed in his stream comments that he intends to keep grinding until he reaches level 600.

Although there is no ranking to say for sure that Talocan is the highest level player, the numbers for players with the most games are insane, with streamer Fortnite Ninja only at around level 190 yesterday , and Talocan is much higher than some of the other players at the top of the game's victories leaderboard, including the Mixer Ship which is only around the 370 level mark.

To reach this level, Talocan used the same tactic: deposit in Steamy Stacks, open all the chests in the area, exit the game to lobby, and queue for a new match. The level of dedication to grinding this tier has meant he's been playing a lot, and as Twitter user Cinema of Gaming revealed, Talocan has been busy.

Season 3 of Fortnite Chapter 2 is set to begin on June 4, which means Talocan still has time to hit that magical level 600 milestone. He won't know if he'll achieve the same feat in Season 3.
