[GUIDE] The evolutions of the Pokémon Eevee in Pokemon Sword and Shield

Discover how evolve Evoli into Pokemon Epee and Shield in Pyroli, Aquali, Voltali, Phyllali, Givrali, Mentali, Noctali and Nymphali.

Eevee is one of the cutest Pokémon in the series and is making a return in Pokémon Sword and Shield. You can capture along Route 4, with Pikachu, but they're a bit tricky to follow, so you can spend some time there if you want one. However, you might spend a lot of time there because you want the multiple evolutions Eevee can turn into play.

Eevee has eight different evolutions; all are of different types. Now you can achieve any of these evolutions upon reaching level 20, but there are some specific things you need to take care of.

Evolutions of the Evoli Pokémon

  • To evolve into the Fire-type Pyroli, you need a Fire Stone.
  • To evolve into the Water-type Aquali, you need the Water Stone
  • To evolve into the Electric-type Voltali, you need a Lightning Stone.
  • To evolve into the Plant-type Phyllali, you need a Plant Stone
  • To evolve into the Ice-type Givrali, you need an Ice Stone
  • To evolve into a Psychic-type Mentali, you need to make sure it has over 220 happiness and stabilizes during the day.
  • To evolve into a Dark-type Noctali, you need to make sure it has over 220 Happiness and stabilizes overnight.
  • To evolve into the Fairy-type Nymphali, you need to make sure you have two heart levels with your Eevee. He must have a fairy type movement and level it during the day

If you get a lower level Eevee from Route 4, it naturally learns Touching Gaze at level 15, which is a fairy type move. For those of you who want to acquire a Noctali or Mentali, make sure he doesn't know about this move. You might end up with a Nymphali when trying to level your Eevee into a Mentali.

You can check your Eevee's happiness towards you by visiting the Happiness Checker in Hammerlocke. When you enter the town from the Wild Area, it's the building immediately to your left. Talk to the young boy and he will ask you to see how much your Pokemon loves you.

Evolution types that require some kind of stone are a bit easier, because if your Eevee is holding that stone, it will surely become that type. There is no time of day associated with it.

It's important to note that you cannot evolve the Eevee you receive as a Mystery Gift for playing Pokemon Let's Go. It cannot evolve into any transformations, however, it has six perfect individual Stats.
