Roblox is ready to beat the summer heat by inviting all users to a virtual party. The next virtual experience is the In the Heights Block Party, which coincides with the June release of the upcoming musical drama film. After the Block Party is a Q&A and Flash Mob Dance event, all encouraging positivity and inclusivity in a united community.
The In the Heights event schedule is as follows:
- Block Party: June 4
- Q&A + Exclusive Viewing Party: June 10
- Flash Mob Dance: June 11
The Block Party In the Heights is a full hub experience that players will join in celebrating the event. Specific details regarding the Q&A/Viewing Party and Flash Mob Dance have yet to be announced.

In the meantime, all Roblox players are hanging out with their friends on a subway train that's headed straight for Washington Heights by heading to the In the Heights Block Party hub page. On the train, players can watch the In the Heights trailer, grab some piragua, and dance with their friends. The full experience begins on June 4.
In the Heights is a musical drama film (directed by Jon M. Chu) about a bodega owner in New York who saves his money to build a better life for himself. Based on the four-time Tony award-winning musical by Lin Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) and Quiara Alegría Hudes (Water with a Spoon), In the Heights is set in the predominantly Dominican neighborhood of Washington Heights and deals with themes of culture, d identity and gentrification, to name a few.
