The Celebration Cup is going to be a solo tournament that will be held from February 15 to 16. This is meant to serve as a way to kick off the launch of Season 2
There will be many prizes for players to win. On day one, cosmetic items like skins and other accessories will be up for grabs. However, no one gets anything for free. The only way to get serious loot is to place high enough in games. You are alone.
Day two is when the real thing kicks in. On February 16, you and everyone else will have the chance to win a million dollars. To be eligible for the cash prize, you must be playing on a PS4 with an account of at least 15 or more. You must also use two-factor authentication by also having an Epic Games account.
It goes without saying that this could end up being a big break for someone. While the million dollars is going to be huge, the fame that comes with winning a tournament like this is immeasurable. Let's not forget Fortnite World Cup winner Kyle Giersdorf aka Bugha. He was the proud recipient of $3 million and tons of publicity. He even got to appear on many late-night talk shows and discuss his victory with Kimmel and Falon. Perhaps you could do the same.
