Finding what Pokemon Sword and Shield are all about. As you move through the game, you'll come across all kinds of different Pokemon. But what if you want to find a Fantyrm? In this guide, we'll show you where to go to get a Fantyrm added to your Pokedex.
Where to find Fantyrm in Pokemon Sword and Shield
To find Fantyrm, you'll need to head to Lake Outrage, which you can find on the map between Routes 5 and 6. The only problem is that Lake Outrage is cut off by a river. To get to the area, you must have completed the sixth Gym Challenge, as this will give you a bike that can travel on water, allowing you access to the area.
Fantyrm will only spawn in the area during stormy weather, overcast, or covered in heavy fog. Fantyrm is not an Overworld encounter, so beware of small exclamation points that may appear, letting you know of a Pokémon's presence. When you see one, jump into the engagement area to start the battle and find out what Pokemon is. Fantyrm has a very low chance of being found, so you'll need to spend a lot of time in the area before you find one.
It's also been reported that you can find the Fantyrm evolution, Dispareptil, in the same sector, under the same weather conditions, as an Overworld encounter, but I can't confirm that at this time.
