The Bloober team is teaming up with Rogue Games to develop an unannounced horror game for next-gen console gaming. The companies made the official announcement on the Rogue Games blog, with the publication claiming that the partnership between the two will be "the most ambitious ventures yet" for Rogue.

Bloober Team is a Polish game studio well known for creating some of the most popular horror games of recent years. Some of the biggest games released by the company include Layers of Fear, Blair Witch, and The Medium.

Bloober's partnership with Rogue isn't the only high-profile team the company is a part of, either – earlier this year, Konami announced it was entering into a business alliance with Bloober. While nothing has been directly stated by Konami, many fans and watchers are speculating that, given Bloober's horror reputation, the company will be part of an upcoming Silent Hill release.

Rogue Games is a studio that works on smaller games for PC, mobile devices, and Switch. The company has a high pedigree of talent on its board – former Sony Computer Entertainment America President and CEO Jack Tretton and former Nintendo of America President and COO , Reggie Fils-Aimé, are members of the Company's Board of Directors. Rogue also revealed that it is also partnering with Netflix to bring Netflix Games to mobile.
