This year's Solstice of Heroes in Destiny 2 may look slightly different to long-time fans of the game. This time around, players will be using two different event currencies called Silver Leaf and Silver Ash to ignite their armor and make it shine. Here's how you can get Silver Leaf and Silver Ash in the Solstice 2022 event.
How to Get Silver Leaf in Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes
Silver Leaves will drop when you complete an activity while wearing Burning Armor. This includes almost all in-game activities such as the strike playlist or public events like Nightmare Containment. Eva Levante graciously offers you a full set after speaking with her at the Tower. If you lose a part, they'll also sell you a spare, ensuring you always have access to a complete set.
However, a full set of Glowing armor isn't actually required for the leaves to be earned. You are only required to wear four pieces of the armor set, leaving one slot open for an Exotic of your choice.
Once you have obtained silver leaves, you are ready to continue the process and turn them into silver ashes.

Once you get a bundle of Silver Leaf, you'll want to head to the seasonal activity, Bonfire Bash. At the end of a Bonfire Bash game, you can incinerate your Silver Leaves at the bonfire and turn them into Silver Ash.
Players can then upgrade their Candescent armor using Silver Ash and Kindling. Ignite is a reward for completing Seasonal Challenges. Upgrading your armor will boost its stats, resulting in better gear. Once you upgrade a piece of armor to its maximum level, you will unlock a white glow for it.
It will be quite a challenge to upgrade all the armor pieces, but seeing the armor with its glow is worth it.
