It has been announced that the beloved psychological horror anime video game, Doki-Doki Literature Club, will be re-released which will include even more content for fans to enjoy. But what will be added? And when will it come out? Find below!
Details and release date
The classic DDLC title is getting a new version that will also be released on Nintendo Switch and other consoles, not just PC/Mac. DDLC Plus! will include much more content, including:
- New side stories that will add hours of content
- Enhanced HD visuals
- Over 13 new music tracks
- Over 1000 unlockable images
DDLC Plus! will be available on PC/Mac, Nintendo Switch, PS4/PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The price of the game hovers around $14,99, with some platforms offering discounts for pre-orders. The game will also release a physical version of the game on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation.
Doki Doki Plus Literature Club! will be released on June 30, 2021.

Pre-Orders
The game cannot be pre-ordered on all platforms yet. If you're wondering if you can pre-order the game, take a look below:
- For PS4/PS5 players: there is currently no pre-order option, nor page currently
- For Xbox players: There is currently no pre-order option, but there is a page for the game
- For Nintendo Switch players: the game can be pre-ordered for $14,99 on the Nintendo Eshop page
- For PC players: There are several options for the game including the Serenity Forge website and Steam for pre-order. The Serenity Forge option still plays the game on Steam, but it's currently discounted to $13,49 when you purchase there. The Epic Games Store has a page, but no pre-order option
