It's time to get into the holiday spirit in Final Fantasy XIV as Starlight Celebration 2022 has been unveiled. Posted on the Final Fantasy XIV Lodestone page at the start of December 8, the 2022 seasonal event, subtitled “Magicks of Eld Conjure Smiles Anew” will run from Thursday December 15, 2022 at 12:00 PM until Saturday December 31. , 2022 at 6:59 a.m. PT.
The event will see a new seasonal questline begin in Old Gridania, with the player encountering NPC Amh Garanjy, the pink-haired Miqo'te who is one of the recurring characters in Starlight Celebration quests. As a reward for completing the quest, you can pick up the Starlight Steed and a new housing item – a new snowy tree!

Starlight Celebration is the final event of Final Fantasy XIV's calendar year, and it's bittersweet to see it coming, as it signals the end of Endwalker's first year and another year of FFXIV in the books. However, as in the game, Starlight is a festival to celebrate the giving of gifts to children, there is still much to celebrate!
As always, Seasonal Quests will only be available during the event and may not be able to be completed after the event ends. All items are limited time, although previous year's Starlight items may be available in the Mogstation Final Fantasy XIV eShop during the event. So it's time to put on those holiday glamors and enjoy Starlight Celebration 2022!
