How do I enable and disable PvP in the New World?

How do I enable and disable PvP in the New World?

To disable and re-enable PVP, you will need to go to an in-game shrine and press U to toggle PVP on and off.

If you don't know what a shrine is or where to find one, in short, it's one of the main settlements that litter the game's world map, and at these locations you'll be able to turn PVP on and off .

However, before you can turn PVP on or off, we strongly recommend that you level up a bit or join a faction, as you will no doubt come across higher level players who will gank you.

If you want to avoid this, you can join a faction by talking to one of the faction representatives in the settlement you are in or during the quest that requires you to do so.

To level up, all you have to do is do quests, kill mobs, and gather tons of resources – it's going to take a bit of time, but it's the best way.

That being said, once you level up and join a strong faction, you'll be ready for all the PVP fun matters and can even accept missions from in-game faction reps.
