The Halo series is known for its local split-screen feature and has been in many of its games. With the launch of Halo Infinite, players may wonder if this feature is back and if so, how to play it. The good news is that split-screen is present in Halo Infinite, but only for Xbox currently.

Those on Xbox can play split-screen with friends as long as everyone has their own account. Currently there seems to be an issue with guest accounts when trying to play in split screen. For now, make sure everyone is logged into their account so you can play together. To do this, follow these steps.

    • If everything works well, you will be able to play in split screen.

As Halo Infinite is a new game, there are bound to be issues with one of its systems and it looks like split screen is one of them. It may take a few attempts to successfully get your friends to join the game, but keep trying and you should be able to play together.

For now, split-screen is only available on Xbox, but the feature will likely be added to PC at a later date. This means players will have to stick with online multiplayer on PC in the meantime.
