The Tokyo Game Show 2022 released the big game with its many revelations. One surprise was the reveal of a new Overwatch 2 hero.

During Xbox's presentation at Tokyo Game Show 2022, Activision Blizzard introduced the latest hero coming to Overwatch 2. Kiriko joins the impressive roster of heroes when the hero shooter sequel releases on October 4, 2022.

The gameplay trailer shows the new nimble hero in action. She wields kunai and what appears to be hidden in battle to both deal damage to enemies and support her allies. She has shown healing allies with a yellow buff and also applying a blue buff whose effects are unclear at this time. His ultimate attack uses a Kitsune that draws a clear path forward buffing allies as they mow down enemies.

Overwatch 2 has come under fire recently as Activision Blizzard revealed plans for new heroes to be unlocked either by going through a battle pass for them or by purchasing them outright. It is unknown at this time if Kiriko will be one of those characters locked behind a door or if she is part of the default roster when the title launches.
