It was once again for Bungie to hold a vote for the Festival of Lost 2022 Armor. This was the second time the devs allowed the community to vote on which Armor set will be featured. After a week of fans submitting their votes, the results are in and the community has spoken. The Mechs team seized the day.

It was announced on the official Destiny 2 Twitter account that Mechs have won the Victory Crown. In a vote that lasted from April 7 to April 13, thousands of people submitted their input for the decision. However, in the end, the Mechs proved victorious. Although the victory was not by much, as there was only a small difference in the votes, with 52% in favor of Mechs and 48% in favor of Monsters.

Many fans might have predicted this outcome, as the Mech Armor seemed to provide the best armor set for each class. The highly stylized armor with fantastic shader potential captured the hearts of many. The downfall of Monster Armor was most likely due to the clashing designs of certain classes. Many fans said the Titan and Warlock armor sets were no match for the hunter's interesting Godzilla-inspired set. This is probably why the Mech armor was able to take hold.

These votes are great fun for the community and help build a collaborative relationship between developers and fans. It will be exciting to see if Bungie decides to continue doing things like this in the future.
