Update: TT Games has officially confirmed that LEGO Ninjago is free on PS4. In a tweet, the developer said the game would be available to everyone by May 21, giving you just under a week to redeem your free copy. Additionally, all regions now have access to the game for free. Download it!
Original story: Here's a warning: PlayStation 4 owners with North American accounts may nab another freebie. We don't know if this is planned or not, but the LEGO Ninjago Movie video game is currently available for free on the US PlayStation Store.
We're inclined to think that's a deliberate decision, as the game is also free on other platforms right now. However, there is no official communication about it yet. Our advice would be to add this to your PS4 library ASAP, just to be safe.
The game itself is a solid LEGO platformer based on the Ninjago movie from a few years ago. As with other LEGO titles, it features drop-in co-op for up to four players, which would make it a great game to play if you're currently staying home with your family.
