Improved surveys

You no longer need to return to your browser to complete a poll you see in the game's main menu. Any polls, such as voting on a new pack, will be alerted in-game in the main menu and may now be taken in the game itself and not in an external browser.

New filters for packs

When it comes to filtering or selecting certain packs, this feature has undergone many changes in appearance over time. In this update, nothing major will change the way you view and filter packs. The game just added a few more filter options, like Dirty.

Main menu panel improvements

Made some minor aesthetic changes to the main menu, all in favor of a simpler and more pleasing user interface. There's also a new feature that allows players to hover over titles on the home screen, which will give you an expanded view that provides more information.



Bug fixes

There weren't too many updates to fix bugs in The Sims 4, but there were still some notable ones. Bugs have been fixed for the base game, Decor to the Max, Outdoor Retreat and Discover University. These bugs have been fixed:

  • Scenarios will no longer be deleted when moving households.
  • Nail polish clipping corrected for CAS.
  • (Console games) The issue of moving walls and floors has been fixed.
  • Canceling the Save Batch feature will no longer cause instability in the game.
  • The Fill Empty Lots feature has been removed from the game, as it is redundant with Neighborhood Stories.
  • Stuffed toilets can now be repaired.
  • The event planning menu has been stabilized.
  • The resolution of the overlay in the Origin game has been stabilized.
  • Video playback has been fixed and will no longer display a gray screen.
  • Re-enrolment at university after corrected suspension.
  • The de-stressing decoction will now only be done on the grill.
  • The infinity circle lighting has been adjusted to match other lights in the game.
