Throughout Minecraft's decade of existence, players have challenged themselves to create all kinds of constructions, from mansions and castles to boat houses, and more. However, with the release of Minecraft Education Edition, Mojang has brought its own challenges to youngsters and Some building challenges are more intriguing than others, let's review our personal top five.
Pixel Portrait Creation Challenge

Pixel Portraits is a simple building challenge. Players are expected to make a large pixelated 2D portrait of themselves/friends/family/celebrity/etc. It's not a challenge to perfectly capture the person they portray, but rather a general idea of them.
Think of this challenge as one where players could turn to the 8-bit versions they might have played in some indie RPGs. They can serve as different more detailed and personalized emojis. With the opening of this challenge, players can build many more directives there.
Architectural Building Challenge

Players who wish to challenge their architectural prowess can start with this simple architectural challenge. Choose from any period of structures and try to imitate it as best as possible with Minecraft materials. From Roman temples and amphitheatres to Gothic cathedrals and Islamic mosques.
This can be particularly interesting if done in a group. Players could join together to build an entire cityscape based on the architectural style of a certain region. Not only does this inspire players to try new building styles, but also create organic shapes with only blocks at their disposal.

Comic Building Challenge

The Comic Book challenge has the player or multiple players working together to create one or more pages of a comic book. In each page, players have to create a scene on a few panels and tell a story. Players can take screenshots of each page they create or leave them in their world to find later as a sort of giant storybook.
This building challenge takes the concept of portrait challenges and takes it up a notch with full scenes integrated in either 3D or 2D, depending on the player's preference. Players can write their own comic or copy one of their favorites and incorporate it into this style. This can be a longer-term challenge for those who are serious about putting the time into it.
Character Study Building Challenge

For the character study building challenge, players must take a favorite character and try to build a house for them based on their characteristics. Due to the large number of possible characters, this build could cover many of the other challenges. Players could create something from any culture or timeline.
Players could also make a house to accommodate a character they created. However, in this case, players should be sure not to just spawn a base box. The goal is to provide a real home for the character and give them something they would like to live in.

Physics roller coaster building challenge

With all the mining mechanics in the game, building roller coasters should be a fairly easy task. However, players can challenge themselves to imitate real roller coasters or even create their own thrilling ride with a minimum number of inclines, twists and turns. Using the mining carts, players can run their roller coaster halfway or to the end to see how well they achieved the desired effects.
