Fire resistance potions are some of the most vital potions in Minecraft, making damage from fire, lava, flame, and other fire-based attacks almost negligible. Drinking a fire resistance potion quickly can be the difference between burning to death or surviving.

To make a Fire Resistance Potion, you will need Brewing Media, Nether Wart, Blaze Powder, Water, Glass Bottles, and the most important ingredient, Cream. of magma. First, you'll need to brew a clumsy potion. To do this, place Nether Wart in the top slot of the brewing stand and water bottles in the bottom. Make sure you have enough firepowder fuel to brew the potion!

Once you've brewed a clumsy potion, it's time to add the magma cream. Place the magma cream in the upper slot, to add it to clumsy potions. You have now successfully created a fire resistance potion!

From there, you can do a few things to improve your fire resistance potion. If you add Redstone to the potion, the same way you added Magma Cream, you can extend the duration to eight minutes. This is great for extended trips to the Nether.

Alternatively, you can add gunpowder to make fire resistance splash potions. They're perfect if you're playing with friends and need to save one from a fiery death!
