In October 2021, a series of Twitch leaks claimed to detail how much the platform's top 100 streamers were paid between August 2019 and October 2021. Channel Nickmercs landed in fifth place, with over $5 million which would have been paid to him. during this time.
Although the veracity of the leak has not been proven and Twitch has made no official statement, the leaked documents suggest that Nickmercs was earning nearly $2,5 million from subscribers alone during this period. Given that the average share of a paid subscription to a Twitch partner is around $2,50, the amount seems to imply that Nickmercs' deal gives it a larger share of subscriber payments.

Also, actual Nickmerc earnings can be much higher or much lower. Many streamers have come out suggesting the numbers in the leak may be inaccurate. Moreover, subscribers are not the only source of income for streamers.
In addition to its subscription payments, Nickmercs will likely have received donations, sponsorship deals, partnerships, and possibly a deal with Twitch that saw its revenue far exceed the estimated amount. Overall, it's incredibly difficult to estimate how much a popular streamer can earn on Twitch, but recent leaks have helped us suggest the number will be at least seven figures.
