How to make a craft table
To craft a crafting table in Minecraft, you'll need to gather some wood, turn it into planks, and then craft the table yourself in your inventory!
Step 1: Gather a Log of Wood
Since we're probably just getting started, we'll need to gather a log of wood. This can be done by hitting a tree! Although it is a slow method, we can speed up the process in the future by creating an ax. However, at the moment we don't need to do that, so just hit the tree trunk to pick up wood logs.
You only need one wood log for the crafting table, but you might as well stockpile some so you can craft tools.
Step 2: create wooden planks
Now that we have a wooden log, we're going to need to make some wooden planks! Open your inventory and place the journal in the crafting area.
We get four planks of wood for every log we put in it, which is exactly what we need. Take these newly crafted planks and place them in your inventory or toolbar.
Step 3: Create the crafting table
Keep this inventory open, as you will now want to place the four wooden planks in each of the empty slots in the crafting area to create the crafting table.
Take this crafting table out of the crafting box and place it in your inventory or toolbar.

This will show you recipes for things that can be crafted using resources you've collected in the past. If they have a red square around them, it means you are missing all the resources needed for that particular item.
You can click or tap on this item to see what it needs and how you can craft it! You can also repair damaged tools, weapons, and armor with the table. If you have two damaged items of the same material, you can combine them to create a repaired item!
