How to Make White Dye in Minecraft

How to Make White Dye in Minecraft

In short, to craft White Dye you will need two items, Bone Meal and Lilly of the Valley, then put them in a crafting table to craft the Dye.

That being said, these two materials are not hard to obtain. Bone meal is especially easy when you have a composter. For this reason, we recommend getting a composter to produce bone meal for dyeing, since all it needs is a pile of compostable materials.

If you don't have a composter, all you need to craft one is seven wooden slabs placed in all but the middle, top and middle slots of a crafting table.

Once placed in that order, you will be able to craft the composter, and when your composter is placed, throw a pile of one of the following inside to make bone meal.

    • French Fries
    • Potatoes
    • Carrots
    • Dry dry
    • Fougères
    • Grass
    • Water lilies
    • Flowers
    • distorted roots
    • Pain
    • Biscuits
    • melon slices
    • Pumpkin
    • Seeds
    • Beet
    • berries
    • weeping vines
    • Deformed mushroom
    • Mushroom Blocks
    • Kelp
    • catus
    • saplings
    • crimson mushroom
    • purple roots

When you've made some bone meal, you'll be ready to tackle the next step in making white dye, which is finding a thrush. In short, all you have to do to find this flower is search the flower forest biome, and sooner or later you will come across it.
