    World War 3 was first made available in October 2018 on Steam. This initial period of indie gaming was more of a fundraising campaign run by the developers, The Farm 51. Players can now install and play World War 3 Alpha starting September 27.


    World War 3 is a multiplayer first-person shooter (FPS) involving tactical military combat. The game is inspired by Battlefield franchise games such as Battlefield 3 and 4. Rather, this game will be free at launch, providing a more accessible Battlefield-like experience.


    The World War 3 Tech Test, however, is exclusive to players who purchased the early access version of the game in 2018. This is a gesture of gratitude from the developers to the game's early supporters. how you can preload and play World War 3 Alpha.

    • Launch Steam on your PC and head to Library.
    • Look for "World War 3 PTE" in the list of games. As mentioned earlier, you can only find this option if you purchased the game in Early Access.
    • Press download to install the game and the MY.GAMES launcher.
    • Press play once installation is complete.
    • Servers for the Veteran Alpha Test will be available until October 4 at 17:00 PM PT.

    World War 3 offers a massive combined arms warfare setting involving weapons, drones, vehicles and more. The game will undergo several tests in the coming months. All players, even those who did not purchase early access, will soon be able to play.
