If you're looking to get rich in Minecraft Dungeons, you'll need to know how to get a whole bunch of Emeralds! We'll take a look at some of the best farming methods you can try in our Minecraft Dungeons money guide. I hope these strategies will have you swimming in emeralds like Scrooge McDuck!
Emeralds can be spent in town at the Blacksmith or Wandering Trader. The blacksmith can be paid with emeralds to craft you a random piece of gear that will suit your level. Wandering Trade will craft you a random artifact that matches your level. Each of these options gives you additional ways to obtain loot that will be usable for your character. Yes, you'll probably get things that aren't worth using, but you can also get lucky and manage to draw something powerful.

Emerald Breeding Methods
First, you will be doing a lot of mob farming to get emeralds. So you'll definitely want to get a diamond pickaxe. Why? Well, because it has the unique benefit of finding more emeralds on it.
While that helps, you'll also want to hope your diamond pickaxe comes with the Prospector enchantment. This gives you the additional ability to find emeralds from fallen enemies. Level one of this enchantment gives you a 100% boost, 2 gives you 200%, and the max level 3 upgrade will give you a whopping 300% boost to Emeralds dropping enemies. Having a weapon with these stacked will greatly increase your ability to get emeralds in the game!
Cultivate Pumpkin Pastures
Get your Diamond Pickaxe or a weapon that has the Prospector enchantment on it and head to Pumpkin Pastures. This starts The Last Hearth mission, which you'll want to start doing. You can pretty much sprint until you get to a castle. An event will start where it stops you from continuing. You need to complete a quick battle of spawning monsters. Once you complete this, you will receive a "Lower the Drawbridge" objective. This is where we will do our farming.
This objective wants you to press switches to bring down the drawbridge. We do NOT want to do that! Groups of monsters will appear in this area which you can kill and repeat over and over again until you have collected all the emeralds you want. Each time you kill a group, another will appear shortly after. As long as you have your weapon equipped with the buff to find Emeralds, you should get enough for each batch of mobs you kill. This is a very simple but effective way to earn a lot of money from the start of the game.
AFK Emerald Farming
Believe it or not, you can make an AFK farm in Minecraft Dungeons. To take it to the highest level, you'll need to use some sort of additional program that automatically hits the keys for you, but that wouldn't be too difficult to accomplish. This uses the same area of pumpkins as the method above, so I won't be surprised if that area gets nerfed or changed after release. So, take advantage of it early if it's not solved yet!
The first thing you'll need is some Tasty Bone Artifacts to equip. You would ideally have three so you can summon three wolves to aid you in battle. These will take care of most monsters that spawn, so your character won't have to do much. However, you will eventually be attacked, but we have a solution for that. You'll want to find armor that you can enchant with thorns. If you give that three level max, you return 200% damage to any attacker that hits you. This means that they will eventually kill themselves for having the audacity to hit you.
You can get away with these things and you'll probably survive for a while. You won't die so fast because wolves take care of enemies pretty quickly. Unfortunately, you won't survive forever! If you want to go into full AFK mode, you'll need to find yourself an auto-clicker or a program that will automatically push the buttons for you. Another thing you'll want is the Health Synergy enchantment on your armor. This will restore 5% of your health (max level) whenever you activate an artifact. So set your auto-clicker to use your artifacts and health potion every 45 seconds or so. Once you've activated this, you'll never die and will continually gain experience and emeralds while you're busy doing other things!
